Gear up for the weekend "honey-dos" by tuning in Thursday at 6pm to two of San Diego's favorite home improvement experts, John Jedynak and Dennis Van Sickle. Between John and Dennis, you can get all your questions answered pertaining to your home.

Questions pour in over the phones as listeners seek answers to everyday problems and issues around the home. Stars "drop in" or participate so they can show "the homey side" of their character and talk about their ways to relax around the home with chores or home improvement tasks.

Get advice from guests who contribute vital information to the listener on subjects like solar power, wind power, water conservation, windows doors, putting greens, how to hire a contractor, etc. Talk may include the purification of soiled air in your home, turning your toilet into a bidet, construction defects and litigation or talk with a stucco expert on mildew and cracking.

The Home Show has provided listeners 45+ in Southern California with the most interesting and entertaining topics for audiences since 1996. The Home Show was designed to fill a void in the San Diego radio market as a forum for residents to get advice on home improvement and remodeling problems.

As an owner of The Window Factory, John Jedynak found that most people on the West Coast were not familiar with the vinyl building products that were commonplace to Easterners. John designed The Home Show to answer questions about these new technologies in the home building/remodeling industry.

During the first year on the air, The Home Show also addressed specific issues and concerns from the public about the shrinking availability of condominiums and rising cost of liability insurance for builders.

The building boom on the West Coast in the 70's & 80's led to construction defects and ensuing litigation in the 90’s.  This scenario resulted in several months of on-air debate between many of the major players in developing, construction defect attorneys and the public.

A couple of years ago, in an effort to expand his listener base, John introduced co-host Dennis Van Sickle, who not only has built homes, office buildings and restaurants from one coast to the other, but has a gift of dialogue that compliments John and connects excellently with the public.
